The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake is beginning to take shape, and these spy shots reveal the baby estate in almost production trim. Spotted winter testing in Scandinavia, expect to see the CLA Shooting Brake to go on sale in early 2015.
It will be the fifth model in the Mercedes small car lineup based on the MFA architecture, which also underpins the A, B, CLA and GLA-Class models. The images reveal the CLA Shooting Brake will adopt several styling cues from the larger CLS shooting Brake, with the sloping roofline and rounded flanks. The extended rear end, which is lightly disguised in the images, will make for increased passenger and luggage space over the standard model.
