 A third-generation Porsche Cayenne is set to arrive in 2017 and our exclusive images show what to expect from the lighter, more hi-tech SUV. Prices have yet to be confirmed but the petrol, diesel and hybrid model range is likely to include familiar performance models like the Cayenne Turbo and GTS.

The current Porsche Cayenne's oval headlights will remain, but there will be a new clamshell bonnet like the one on the smaller Porsche Macan.

The side of the car features a C-shaped vent, with creases running back along the doors, while the Cayenne's tail-lights are now more modern, and use a variant of the light bar that debuted on the Panamera Sport Turismo concept.
