The current WRX STI has been around for a long time and even though the chassis of the car has been revamped a few times, its EJ engine is the same as it was more than a decade ago so it offers its torque quite high up the rev range and it is not really the easiest to work on or even the most efficient out there. We already know that the 2017 Subaru WRX STI is going to be nearly the same as the current model but only with a few minor differences inside the cabin where it is expected to receive a bit more gear as well as slightly better materials
