Finally, after a lot of rumors, Toyota launches the first spy photos of the redesigned sedan, named 2018 Toyota Camry. Traditionally, Camry edition is one of the most popular cars in its lineup.
REDESIGN - design changes and updates
One of the biggest updates and changes is an all-new design. The future 4-door sedan is a redesigned edition. Firstly, spy photos suggest that back bumper is changed and added new side mirrors. The platform is changed, and it will be lighter. But, besides of all of these changes, spy photographers believe that new Camry will retain a traditionally design features.
As far as performance and engine, Toyota will offer a new 2.0-litter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Of course, Toyota prepares to launch a hybrid edition - 2018 model year.
Because of that, we can expect upgraded performance, primarily better fuel-efficiency. The main cause is the lighter platform. Nevertheless, car critics suggest that we can expect improved handling. In the end, Toyota confirmed that newest Camry will have a premiere at 2017 Detroit Auto Show, in January. But, in showrooms, we might expect in middle 2017. year.
