A new high-performance Range Rover Sport variant has been spotted testing at the Nürburgring.

Previously thought to be badged RS, this test mule sports larger front air intakes, a redesigned rear bumper and quadruple exhausts. Following Land Rover's release of the Range Rover Evoque in Autobiography Dynamic specification, it's likely the firm will plan a similar treatment for this hot Range Rover.

Like the performance Evoque, which gets 281bhp from its 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the new Range Rover Sport would likely sit at the very top of the range.
