CarVersation covered the original Opel GT sports car as part of its "Friday Flashback" series.

The old GT was Opel's first stab at building a fun and sporty car. The GT name came back again as Opel's version of the Saturn Sky roadster. Sadly, the Sky will be discontinued.

My mother had one when I was a child, and it was a great little vehicle... Though the (overall) performance was never quite a match for its very well-drawn exterior.
