AMG and McLaren going head-to-head on mid-engined V8 supercar
Both Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division and McLaren are going head-to-head on mid-engined V8 supercars that are expected to hit the market in 2010 as rivals. Let us not forget that AMG did the CLK-GTR and it's its imfamous upgrade, the CLR (the one that flew in 1999). They were hardcore, so AMG can do hard core, if need be. But if AMG will do a R8 competitor, and BMW is doing the same thing, will, AMG,wait to see what BMW will have out?

The F2 will own the SLC but the price tag might be the issue.
