As we've stated numerous times, it's really amazing what colors and paint finishes can do to a car. And ever since the matte movement started, it's been fun to see some of the cars and trucks that look great and also the vehicles that look less-than-stellar.

If we were to pick one manufacturer that can pull off the whole matte look, it would likely be Lamborghini. With their spaceship-like exterior design, it just works.

But, a Middle Eastern businessman may have just pushed it a bit too far.

That's because he didn't only just go matte. He also spec'd his car in purple. And it's not a subtle purple, it's LOUD!

That said, we want to know if his matte purple Aventador is AWESOME or AWFUL...


The Nassar Al Thani Matte Purple Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 still retains the Oakley Design treatment and that means the carbon fiber chin spoiler but we don’t see the Oakley design rear spoiler that it previously had, also the plates “420000” have been replaced with “CATCH ME IF YOU CAN”. The most notable is that they retained the world famous LOC or Lamborghini Orange County exhaust system, now known as the LNB (Lamborghini Newport Beach) exhaust systems that feature a tuned and balanced system specifically engineered to maximize the performance of the Lamborghini.
