Agent 00K Recovering After Car Accident-Let's All Send Her Our Well Wishes!
In case you've been wondering where Agent 00K has been hiding, the news has NOT been good.
On her way to the 2009 Ford Escape press event, her BMW was rear-ended.
And as a result of unknown damage to the brakes during that collision, today the brakes had issues and she was involved in another more serious crash.
This time resulting in injuries.
Here is the note I received this afternoon
"So as a result of the accident on La Cienega, my breaks were bad. Today, on my way back from Hollywood, my breaks went out entirely and I was in a fairly severe accident. The hood, front bumper, and side were smashed in on my car, and I suffered shoulder, neck, and back injuries. My parents just brought me home, but I have no phone at them moment."
I just spoke to her and she is pretty groggy but it looks like she will be ok, but will be recovering for a while.
Her car (her BABY) didn't make out so well...
Let's all send her some well wishes and encouragement during this downtime for her.
She is an awesome person and needs our love right now!!!!
GET WELL SOON 00K!!!!
We all love you!!!!!

WTF is wrong with you? Screw the BMW, she may have been killed. Twice. And maybe because she was in one it was not more serious.

retard, why don't you take a look at some of the accidents where people walked away unscaved in BMW's. German cars are very safe. they have to be to survive a crash at autobahn speeds. Something most other cars couldn't do. Do some research instead of talking out your ass based on your prejudice. I am a BMW fan, but I don't go around bashing everything that isn't BMW and calling it trash simply because it isn't BMW or German. Grow up and get a life. I bet you are a 13 year old pimple faced acne cladden kid just hitting puberty at the computer with some sour cream and onion potato chips and a mayonnaise sandwich drinking a slurpee from 7-11.

And Michael show me one lexus with over 400,000 miles on it. We just had a Mercedes roll over to 1 million miles a couple of months back, on the origional inline 6 turbo diesel engine. All of my BMW's have been good to me except when I got some bad gas and was running 16psi of boost in my 85 745i. Pre-detonation burned the head gasket, but that was my fault for forgetting to turn the boost down back to the stock 6 psi.

Best wishes on your recovery. Being hurt SUX, take care of your back/neck. Follow Doc's instructions to the letter, this will pay off years from now. Suprised about the BMW brakes just failing without any warning or dash light (WTF is that???). I have 2 bimmers now (740i/635csi) and 3 others in the past the brakes are some of their strong points (the Brembo's and drilled/slotted rotors don't hurt any either)
P.S. I like the gallery, cute bunny. ;p

opfreak- can you not READ? I'm quoting here: "And as a result of unknown damage to the brakes during that collision, today the brakes had issues and she was involved in another more serious crash." Last time I checked, UNKNOWN meant that she didn't know about the problem.
K- I'm glad that you're OK (or at least GOING to be OK). Even the best (and fondest) of cars are replaceable. PEOPLE are NOT. :)

"but your second comment was highly sexist"
if you watch her "job" interview video with oo1, you would think otherwise. when ooj got hired, there was like no awareness of any sort. i dont even think he had an interview video; just a simple announcement. but when ook got hired, she gets her pic placed right on the right side column and the hype of it lived on for a couple days. hmm...there is definitely special treatment here but im sure ooj wont care since he is a "man"
"Last time I checked, UNKNOWN meant that she didn't know about the problem."
mscoot, if you read ook's quote, "So as a result of the accident on La Cienega, my breaks were bad. Today, on my way back from Hollywood, my breaks went out entirely and I was in a fairly severe accident"
she already knew her brakes (breaks? wtf?) were bad to begin with. the problem wasnt unknown to her. what is unknown are how the brakes were technically damaged but it came from the previous accident. thats what i correlated from the news post

My "check brake linings" light turned on before I headed back to Palos Verdes from Hollywood. I didn't realize they would fail so quickly. my car used to randomly flash "check coolant level" messages before and every time I checked, the coolant level was fine.

Well at least you are alive. judging from the way you describe I bet one of the brake lines was severed by debris. that would explain the brakes just failing. the only way they are going to just fail without warning (other than the light being on) is running out of fluid. That leads me to believe a severed brake line.
