I don't know about you, but I like to watch TV shows that revolve around disasters.  Last week I caught the documentary about the US Air flight that went down in the Hudson River.

The firsthand accounts from passengers and crews tell a chilling tale of how miraculous an event that day was, and how the first hurdle of surviving a plane crash quickly faded as the second hurdle of icy cold water in the Hudson River.

A buddy of mine sent me some pictures of the partially dismantled plane as it was moved from the dock in New Jersey to the facility the NTSB will use to determine the cause of the engine failure that brought the plane down.

This is certainly not a sight you see everyday, if ever again, but they are still some pretty cool pictures.

And speaking of cool pictures, be sure to check out the 2010 BMW Z4 Gallery and the 2009 Geneva Auto Show Gallery

Also, if you had taken the photos of the plane, you could have uploaded them while on the scene simply by sending them to Mobile@AutoSpies.com
