Rightfully. It's hard not to stare when an Aston flies by.

It might just be Europe's coolest brand, in fact. It's definitely in the top five!

Yes it's cool but the only British car that I want is the Bentley Brooklands coupe.

That's because it's the ONLY cool UK car brand.

Not car brand, but overall brand.

Google was included on the list, it can be international companies, just voted for by British people.

david989, the Brits I know like a Mini Cooper Works with manual transmission. Your promotion of Lexus is getting ridiculous.

Lexus has more prestige than Bentley.

D'uh! I can't even think of one other brand of anything from the UK I would consider cool, unless you count whiskey.

Good for you richardp996. Sports cars are no longer a practical option for me but I have always liked the Morgan. They used to sell Morgans in Canada but our silly Canada-specific regulations require Morgan to crash a bunch of cars just to be able to sell in a market ten times smaller than the U.S. market. The Canadian government should get rid of its safety and emissions regulations and simply adopt the U.S. federal safety and emissions standards. Any car certified for sale in the U.S. should be automatically certified for sale in Canada. After all, we are driving tens of thousands of vehicles across each other's borders every day.

What do you mean? It's a Ford! O.K, O.K, they sold to Prodrive but it's still a Ford!

fleet, until a few years pass by and I am convinced that Aston Martin no longer uses any Ford components, it's still a Ford for me too. I gave Ford 3 chances in modern times by driving 3 Grand Marquis in the nineties and early this decade -- I'll never go back to Ford again, and unfortunately this lack of trust has spilled over to associated companies like Mazda and Volvo as well.

Lamborghini is slowly ridding the multiple Audi-sourced parts used it used on the Gallardo. The company is making enough money to start using its own bespoke items, especially with little knobs and switches used in the interior, as these were the majority of items taken from the Audi parts bin.

I think Aston Martin and Prodrive (without a doubt) makes its own parts although some of the rigs and moulding equipment was probably included in the buyout from Ford.

With Lamborghini and Ferrari, it's not about expensive interiors. They can be nasty but still work- thankfully, they're not, thanks to the attention to detail from Audi/Lamborghini and Maserati/Ferrari designers.

However, with Aston it's different. These are GT cars, and they need luxurious interiors. The thing is, they have them. So I don't really get the bashing from other members- the wood and switchgear in this car is refreshingly modern and beautiful, the leathers are extremely customizable and they definitely fit in with the modern Aston Martin philosophy.
