What's the difference? It looks like an RS6 Avant front lip is the only change.

However, let's hope for changes under the hood! I can't wait to see the twin-turbo V6!

My other sources tell me that there are new/updated engines, new LED headlights, RS6 styling(pictured) and all the other refresh things(better ride etc. etc.)

Good, I'm most interested in the new engines. The 3.2 is not impressive, in fuel economy or in performance. It is by far my least favorite Audi engine.

Obviously, we don't know anything about it, so why not wait until it's officially released before you bash it?

Oh, right, you'll bash it no matter what. Carry on.

your a dumb;ass, 1st a6 interior is betta than those in the E class, it has MMI, which is very simple to use, unlike the I DumbDrive by BMW. and have you seen the Avant....man Milfs look even sexier in those than the E or 5. and the ride in the A6 is better for daily driving.

amazinIdiot, how could the A6 get kicked in the teeth by the 5-series and E-class??

The A6 outsells both the BMW 5-series and Mercedes-Benz E-class worldwide.

amazinIdiot, please provide factual evidence to support your claim that the A6 will continue to get kicked in the teeth by the 5-series and E-class.

What happened Idiot? You couldn't find any factual evidence to support your claim? I thought so you IDIOT.

"Since when does the A6 outsell the 5 series and E class worldwide?"

This has been known for at least a year now. I looked it up, to no avail, but it has been announced in at least one press release that the A6 is the best-selling "executive" sedan in the world.

This is mostly due to Germany and China. Fun fact: Audi sold nearly 7,000 more vehicles in China than in the US this year.

Leave to Audi to call no change at all a "face lift." Audi has been doing the same basic design with minor changes for far too long now. They need something new. Even the new photos from the Detroit auto show reveal the same old boring design.

AmazinIdiot, you are such an IDIOT its amazing.

What happened?? You couldn't find anymore purely opinionated and subjective Audi-bashing garbage to post and as always, you never provide factual data to support your claim.

You asked for a reliable source that shows the A6 outsells the 5-series or E-class and I have it (unlike you, who never provides factual information to support your claims)

Here you go:
Contrast that with the swagger demonstrated by Audi Chairman Rupert Stadler and Johan de Nysschen, head of Audi of America, when they stopped by Fortune's New York office a day later. As they were more than happy to report, Audi recorded its 12th successive year of growth in 2007, with sales of 950,000 cars worldwide vs. 700,000 as recently as 2004. The Audi A6, its middle-of-the line sedan, outsells the BMW 5-series and the Mercedes E-class.

Please refer to this link for the whole article:

http://money.cnn.com/2008/01/10/magazines/fortune/taylor_fordaudi.fortune/index.htm

Audi is doing extremely well and its future looks very, very promising.

C'mon.... your a bias loser that can't back up your talk with actual facts, amazinIdiot.

"Audi's headlight shine on a strong future"

I love it. Audi is going to sell 1.5 million cars by 2015 and become the world's leading premium selling brand.

Personally I don't see why everyone is so hyped for their favorite brands to become the Chevrolet of luxury cars, but I guess that'd be a nice figure for Audi. I am curious though. See, BMW sold 1.5 million cars in 2007, they're not shooting for 8 years from now to do so. So... assuming BMW also continues to grow (up 7.1% for 2007), by the time 2015 rolls around and Audi reaches their 1.5 million cars, what figure will BMW be on?

There you go amazinIdiot....what are you going to do now that I provided reliable factual data to support my claim that the Audi A6 outsells the BMW 5-series and Mercedes-Benz E-class globally???

JRobUSC you are mistaken. BMW GROUP sold 1.5 million cars in 2007. BMW GROUP includes BMW, Rolls-Royce and MINI brands.

BMW brand, which is only cars with the blue and white roundel on them, had sales of 1.27 million cars in 2007.

Audi is aiming for Audi brand (which is only cars with the interlocking 4 rings on them) to achieve sales of 1.5 million units globally in 2015.

Audi GROUP includes Audi, Lamborghini and Seat. Understand JrobUSC that Audi's goals of 1.5 million cars sold globally in 2015 only includes the Audi brand and NOT Lamborghini and Seat.

The A6 is a nice car, but the styling has been too conervative for my taste. I like the A4 the most of the Audi sedans.

I like the A6 but the engine choices for this car suck! Audi needs new engines and diesels desperately. Audi only sold 12001 A6's last year. That is pathetic. Audi is getting closer to greatness but is not there yet.
