Audi Creates The Next Best Thing To A Baby R8? The Light Weight TT Ultra Quattro

Short of the R8, the TT is Audi’s most focused roadgoing driving machine – particularly in TT RS trim. But Audi has taken the formula a step closer to its LMPs with the TT Ultra Quattro concept. Initially revealed late last month, with the Worthersee tour kicking off in Austria, Audi has revealed more on its racing-derived super-coupe. The focus is on cutting weight, and to that end Audi has fitted carbon-fiber body panels, the R8 GT’s buckets, a magnesium underbody, helping it shed 300 kg off the stock model’s curb weight.
