Audi Q7 TDI to be released early
Audi may pull ahead the start of the diesel Audi Q7 in the US.
"With its European luxury competitors promising 50-state diesels later this year, Audi of America is considering rolling out the Q7 diesel in 2008 as well. Johan de Nysschen, Audi’s U.S. chief, said diesel SUVs coming this fall from Mercedes-Benz and BMW AG may force Audi to bring out the diesel Q7 ahead of schedule."

Excellent. The Q7 3.0 TDI might just be the perfect family SUV.

I sold Audi's from 1985 to 1993 they are the biggest piece of crap I ever sold. They looked and drove great but they were always breaking down.My customers were very unhappy. Its going to be a long road back for them, but I still like them better than BMW's.

well in case you didn't catch this it is 2008 that was 15 years ago and yes a 2008 Lexus is better then a 1993 Audi the late 80's to the early 90s were sad says for Audi.

If you haven't driven an Audi since 1993, you are not allowed to say anything about them. That's even before the first A4 came out, which revolutionized the brand.

Your posts show you know nothing about cars. You haven't lived long enough to have seen the failures of you beloved BMW.I sold BMW in 1990 when they were ripping off the US consumers, thank god for lexus it made them lower their prices and innovate, but it was to late Lexus passed them and will never relinquish their lead. BMW is the best-selling luxury automaker in the world.
They also made bigger gains in the US than Lexus this year, meaning they're closing the gap, very quickly.

This is excellent news! They can't get here fast enough in my opinion. This is one of the most perfectly designed SUV's in the world and the diesel version will only make it better. I hear 25mpg hwy with power similar to the V8 gas engine. Bring it!
