Sure, we already have a pretty good idea of what the 2015 Audi TT looks like based on the design cues of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept.
hat debuted at the Detroit auto show in January. But now Audi has released these sketches detailing the precise styling of the third-generation TT, which will be unveiled at the Geneva auto show next month.
The new TT remains very much true to the heritage of its predecessors. It keeps its trademark “bubble” roof and the round posterior, but the details become altogether more angular. The headlights become narrow, rectangular slits, and their inner workings, like the taillights, are sharp.
A segment of the taillights is permanently illuminated, and the units are connected by a thin third brake light that stretches across the rear end. The TT also gets the latest version of Audi’s “Singleframe” grille.
Audi has already previewed the futuristic interior of the TT at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year. TFT instrumentation comes as standard, but the cabin does without a screen atop the center stack.
Between these sketches and seeing the Allroad Shooting Brake in person in Detroit six weeks ago, we have visions of a grand TT on the horizon. Check back in early March to see real-life images of the 2015 Audi TT.
