Audi of America, Inc. today announced sales for the month of June. Audi sold 7,789 vehicles during the month, a decrease of 3.1% from last year’s figures. To date, Audi has sold 45,711 vehicles in 2007, a 13.0% increase over the previous year.

"Our outlook on 2007 is the same today as it was at the beginning of the year. The marketplace will be challenging, but for Audi we expect to be up year-over-year,” said Johan de Nysschen, Executive Vice President of Audi of America, Inc.. “Excitement around our growing performance portfolio has drawn a high level of interest in the brand. With a full line of premium sedans, a well-received seven-seat luxury SUV, and our upcoming sport coupes, Audi is clearly establishing itself in the U.S. premium luxury market.”

The seven-seat Audi Q7 SUV, as well as the A4 and S4 Cabriolets and A4 and S4 Avants, saw sales increases for June.

Notable sales increases occurred in the Central and Southern regions during the month. Several key markets recorded significant increases, including Atlanta (+32.9%), Miami (+30.0%), Kansas City/St. Louis (56.3%), Cleveland (+14.9%), Chicago (+9.0%) and cities in Texas (+71.3%).

Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales also are up for the year. CPO sales for 2007 total 12,867, and increase of 5.7%.
