Audi and Caddy top Kelley Blue Book luxury brand study

focus on "improved" vs. "used to be in the tank. still in the tank, just a shallower tank"

Congrats Caddy and Audi. I personally like both because you don't see many up here in NYC (well Audi is starting to catch on). Reliability is what keep me from ever considering either but now. I might give it a look.

Amazing. Yet another indication that Audi is increasingly becoming a global force that BMW and Mercedes-Benz will have to deal with in the coming years.
Audi's product portfolio is expanding from the current 32 up to 40 or more. High-performance RS cars are going to be lighter (smaller engines), better balanced (40:60 front-rear Quattro split), and more fuel efficient. This will also be passed onto the regular Audi models.
Quality is improving, reliability is improving, sales are soaring, profits are flying and each new model released has been strikingly on-target.
The path to greater success remains on track.

if BMW continues to cannibalize sales (X6 vs. X5 and 135i vs 335i) the distance will reduce.
Audi's profits are getting larger and larger. Audi's sales are increasing at double the rate of Mercedes-Benz and Audi's brand image as seen here, is soaring.
P.S. I have news for you...the 550i just got beat by the Jag XF Supercharged in Edmund's comparison test.
Article to follow soon.

the A6 was beaten as well, as was the E550 you guys are starting to sound sad.....you posted that comparison test to show the 550i was beaten...most bmw enthusiast i saw seemed to be glad Jaguar created has created such a great car. Competition makes each generation of cars better and better i look forward to the underdogs challenging BMW with full force because it forces BMW to not rest on their laurels but keep working harder or else they will be left behind. As far as Audi i honestly dont think until the next generation A4, A6, and A8 will they be able to say no compromise hopefully with BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus, because the current models cant get out of 3rd-last place, but the new A4 looks promising so im expecting alot from the new A6, and A8

LOL you are an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Sure, what B.S. no MD at Goldman Sachs has the time to post on an automotive forum 50 times a day and plus autospies is blocked at work too.
Good luck in trying to play up your successful ibanker fantasy.
Where did you get your degree University of Phoneix online? I thought so.....

LOL you must be a hick living in North Dakota Michael Taylor. What happened? Did you not get the memo saying Audi is an independent company with it's own board of directors and it existed as an independet company before Volkswagen took it over.
Audi is a world-class player in the luxury segment and its star is shining brighter every single day.

What recent IPO or M&A transaction did you work on?
Bringing stupidity to the world with a clear BMW bias: Market Value -$10 billion.
Get real you couldn't hack it at any investment bank let alone Goldman Sachs with your University of Phoenix online nonsense degree. Your loony economic theories will get shot down in no time and you couldn't even cover an industry because your associate will slaughter you for risking the projections on other auto companies.
Your W2 more like your daddy's W2 because you obviously don't work in banking.
Tell us amazinIdiot what do you REALLY do for a living and where did you REALLY go to school?

Audi hits a wider audiance. They offer VW if you are on a budget, Audi if you want more. This was a good match of companies. Kind of like Ford and Lincoln was years ago. This is what the Euros need in the US, more choice, because most Americans are working class people, and BMWs are just out of reach for many.
