Well the BMW M3 is supposed to be the standard benchmark in the high-performance sport-sedan segment. That means it should give the most feedback, be the most fun to drive and also be the fastest car in terms of straight-line acceleration and track performance.
Unfortunately, the BMW fails in the last requirement and is defeated by the VW/Audi RS4.
BMW was just toppled by a company related to Volkswagen.
We can't say for sure the next BMW M3 with the V8 will be faster than the M3 until ACTUAL tests are done to prove it.
For the basis of this thread we can't say that the next BMW will actually be faster because at this point in time because we don't know.
