Audi targets 55% sales growth in India this year

Regardless of slowdown in the opulent car market in global, the German opulent car producer Audi is aiming for a 55 per cent increase in the sales in India in the present year.

In the calendar year for the first four months, the company has traded 500 cars in the country. Further, by the close of the year 2009 it is targeting for 1,500 as their number. Among this in Kerala 80 of the cars will be sold, said Mr Benoit Tiers, the Managing Director of Audi India.

Becuase of the Swift B-Segment, which they will start selling here in the US huu in the next 6-12 months. It is also becuase of the A star B Segment. Hyundai/KIA is #2 in the Indian Market.

The A Star is not a B segment its an A segment city car, that was a typo.
