Audi Supercharger Turbo
AutoExpress has spy shots of TT-RS and as they say it will be the first Audi to use Twincharger (TSI) technology.
And under the bonnet lies a real firebreathing powerplant. The TT RS will be the first model from the firm to feature VW's TSI technology. It will use both a turbocharger and a supercharger in its 350bhp 3.6-litre TSI version of the current range-topping TT's 3.2-litre V6 FSI powerplant.

a turbocharger and a supercharger judging by the reliability of audis and vw, that sounds like an OBVIOUS please stay away from, and all that for 350hp kinda senseless

Based on BMW's quality record, I can assume the same thing about the 335.
BMW's motto: "Play, Laugh, Grow". This is also PlaySchool's motto, but I guess they go along great considering BMW's PlaySchool quality interiors.

FYI, Audi has better reliability than both BMW and Mercedes. Ask the ToyLex fans to produce the latest JD Power report. VW and Audi are in completely different realms- Audi may be slightly below average, but they're better than all but three luxury brands (Lexus, Acura and Infiniti, of course), and far better than VW.
I was skimming through the latest CR at a drug store today... more Audis were recommended than BMWs... take that!

to the uninformed that replied, audis are vws, last time i checked consumer reports there wasnt an audi that was recommended in fact they all were shown with worse than average reliability as were all vws, pitiful cars.....with the reliability, and depreciation to match.

bmwdrvr, I WAS AT THE STORE YESTERDAY.
I read Consumer Reports YESTERDAY.
Four Audis were recommended- A3, A4, S4 and A8, I belive. Three of them had black circles around the checkmarks, indicating that they were among the best in their classes.
Four BMWs were recommended- but only the 3 Series had a black circle.

Call the R8 a pitiful car when in V10 form it flies by any BMW or Mercedes-Benz on the Nurburgring, costs more than any BMW and has better overall performance
and definitely not your average car looks.

This could be great news.
The TSI is quite a revolution, performance + fuel efficiency.
But I lnew that TSI engines could only use a type of fuel.

NO WAY THE NEW ENGINE WILL BE A 3.6 IF IT IS A TSI
The Current 1.4L TSI in the Golf/Rabbit Produces 168 Bhp & 240 Nm
So a 2.5L Will Easily Manage the Target BHP with a slight Tweak or if kept at the VW 120 Bhp/L (Current in the Golf) Then the Target Displacement is 2.9L
So 3.6 is definately a NO NO.
