A changing of the guard, when did only one Japanese vehicle and 6 Euro models and 3 domestic vehicles. A Ford Flex, wow for a car not to sell well, it is engineered pretty well though. What a mix.

Chuck has a point :-( I don't know if the G37 should be there, but I could see the GT-R being snubbed here along with some other notables: Honda Accord Coupe comes to mind.

9/10! The only car that I don't think belongs here is the XF. It's good, but not great. Obviously not good enough to save Jaguar. It appears to have pretty large panel gaps and the design doesn't flow well IMO.

Not a bad list but the best either. Cars like the G37 & GT-R don't show up on this list because the 3-series & ZR1 are in their places.

Anyway I wouldn't get my feathers fluffed over any Automobile article as their more auto lifestyle oriented as opposed to enthusiast oriented. Not that their a bad magazine by any measure, just they're without the raw data comparos of mags like C&D or R&T.

I remember when Automobile came out in the mid-80's sometime & I didn't think they were going to last, but somehow they're still here...They showed me.

Oh, well then I guess the GT-R isn't up there for reasons "222max" has made clear to me, but you can bet that the 3-series is up there in place of the G37.

What a treat is is to hear from an Audi guy that the G37 sucks. It blows the doors of the Audi competition yet he claims it sucks. It also is one of the most highly regarded sedans by objective experts yet he still clims it sucks. What an idiot.

I think the GT-R should be on the list because of it's performance credentials alone. The IS-F on it's Lexus quality and over all (first attempt) performance. Oh, and the comment from Chucky about lexus having cheap interiors. Well, let's see now the woods are made from Yamaha grand pianos. All leather materials are from the finest steer hide on the planet. Finally, the plastics are made from the highest quality polymers and photosynthetic weather resistant materials available

Lexus does have some nice leather, however it is quite thin to give it a nice supple feel but it does not have a lasting quality. If you look around used car lots and look at a used lexus with some miles on it you will see that the leather on the bolsters and seat bottoms tend to wear out quite rapidly. The same goes for some finer Italian leathers they are very soft and supple but wear out with everyday use. BMW in peticular will use a leather that is not quite as supple but will give you many more years of wear. The Merino leather used on some of the higher end BMW's seems to be an exception as it comes from a special herd of cattle that are kept away from Barbed wire fences and other hazards to the hide.
