BMW X5, Chinese market
Shanghai. September 03 (Gasgoo.com) – Many luxury cars sell much higher prices in China than in Europe or the United States. BMW X5, which will go on in China this month, is one example.

The estimated price of BMW X5 3.0si is about $44,232 in the United States, but the same car model is sold at 8900,000 yuan ($118,666) in the Chinese market.

For that matter how is it going to compete against the Chery CEO rip-off? (I'm not talking in terms of performance)

I'm really liking the X5 4.8i and it is the best SUV for my wife right now. I wish you could get an X5 3.0si with less plastic trim and more aluminum like the 4.8i, because I know she doesn't need the V8's power. But it's nice to have- LOL.

about 4-5 years ago. the old x5 3.0 was over 1,000,000 yuan in Chinese market. which is more than 130,000. the car is cheaper now in china. but still too expensive compare to Europe and USA.
