Baller Status: Tuner pays $870k for ‘F1' license plate
Well, when you’ve got money like this, why not spend it on something that will turn heads - and no, we’re not talking about the car. The 37-year old beat the previous record held by ‘M1' that sold for £331,000 in July 2006.

Kahn threw the $870k license plate on his Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, which cost £200,000 less than the license plate.

So he paid all that cash to put a piece of metal on his car that he will drive maybe 3 times a year. LAME.

If I was a kid and saw his car out, I would so spray or scratch up that plate just to be a d***

and you'll end up in jail and having to pay for the damages. He'll bring up charges against you for vandalism and destruction of property...

btw, "if you were a kid"... you sound like a kid...

ThierryHenry14,

It's called blogging and speaking your mind, not necessarily that you would follow the actions.

I can give my take on high end luxo cars that I may never drive in my life, but because I have never owned or driven one does not mean I cannot have an opinion.

"arguing on the internet is about as retarded as a 92 Lumina with 20" chrome wheels."

Sorry, I forgot that its just typical of people to pretend and talk as if they are one thing but really are not. arguing on the internet is very retarded, thats why I do not do it. I just wish people would actually stop pretending to be what they are not, or say something that they would never do. Less credibility...

This maybe uncommon here in Western countries but here
in MiddleEast buying expensive Number plates are becoming common day bay day.

and the highest bid i have seen(saw on TV) here is around 5M US Dollars.

and others are not far behind.
