Banking On The Silver Spur - Toyota Century
The height of Japanese luxury is not expressed in the Americanized-Germanicized curves of the Lexus LS. It is rather the straight from the 70's edges of the Toyota Century.

It may be dated but it's not ugly. It looks very comfortable. The teaser video is totally useless marketing hype. They tell you nothing about the engine construction. Does it have cast-in iron cylinder liners? DOHC or SOHC? What's the angle between cylinder banks?

EnnNorak,

From wikipedia:

The 1GZ-FE is a 5.0 L (4996 cc) V12 48 valve DOHC engine. Bore is 81 mm and stroke is 80.8 mm, with a compression ratio of 10.5:1. Output is 280 PS (208 kW) at 5200 RPM with 355 ft·lbf (481 Nm) of torque at 4000 RPM. The fuel system is a EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system.

And by the way, the engine is "all-alloy".

thanks Hyundai; however, if it has one of those silicon-impregnated blocks without iron liners, I don't want it. Furthermore, it better be a 60-degree V12 and not some inherently-out-of-balance 90-degree V12.

How utterly unoriginal. Thank God it will never make to the U.S.

plain jealousy.

combined with the usual hatred of whatever is superior to their favored brand.

confirmed by extraordinary SUCCESS in the marketplace.
