This car wasn't done yet, neither was the remodeling of the factory that will build it. It would be nice if things would have lined up perfectly but they didn't. It should launch around the time that TF2 opens though.

Who wants to know the details? The only thing this car will have is looks that's it, you don't want to know the details :(

This looks like the type of car I'd see pulling up to Wal-Mart with a sweaty, overweight, middle-aged man wearing a wife beater (probably is one, too) to pick up duct tape and zipties to reattach the roof of his trailer home. This is a car for people who lack both money and taste, yet seem to think they have both.

You people have to really get over yourselves with comments like "middle-aged man wearing a wife beater". You really should buy a car based on how "YOU" will enjoy it, not what others will think of you. I currently drive a BMW 3 series and am considering trading it in for this Camaro... Why you may ask, because I love to drive fast cars, and where else can I find a 422HP V8 with a 6 speed manual for 33-35k ? So maybe people will think less of me because of my new ride, but that won't change the grin on my face when I'm laying into that V8.

im not sure I would trade one of my BMW's for this car Im to attached to them....but I am seriously considering buying one I really like this car, its alot of what the last one was but without an excellent platform, and good looks its hardly to be snuffed at...the G8 its slightly based on has gotten great reviews...Im sure this Camaro will be amazing and nothing like the archaic car it replaces...it looks more sophistacted and im sure it will drive that way...

They're actually calling it a 2010? Shouldn't it be like a 2001 or something?

Well the 2001 was a 2001, the 2002 was a 2002 and since this one will be built and sold starting in 2010 it would be 2010. The concept came out roughly 2 years before the production car will hit the streets.

Since GM has had a very public time from concept to production and since the car has been hounded by the automotive press unlike any other car in history the car seems old and out of date. But like the SSR and Solstice before it, and the Volt to come after, the Camaro is actually going from concept to production in a pretty normal production time. Perhaps GM should have waited with the concept but even then the GM enthusiast community and the automotive press would be all over any and all developmental work and mule testing.

this is a beautiful well thought out sports car I think it will do better than the challenger and the FORD(Found On Road Dead)RUSTANG. I beleive this car will not only turn heads but it will have a lot of challenger fans trade their car for this

What is it with all of these negative comments about a new Camaro? I like the looks of this one, better than I did the new Mustang. This one is also more up-to-date than the Mustang from a technological standpoint.

I actually like the camaro, but I would never own a chevy, But its the comments made about a car that is not even produced yet that bothers me, its all speculation. Nobody knows what it will do or have as appointments. I went and looked at the new challenger and yea its heavy, but it is well appointed vehicle also seats five along with VVT, MDS, Hill assist, navagation, 5 link independent rear suspention, hemi engines that love forced induction, etc. Fit and finish is very good. It will be nice to have all three back again
