As parent company Daimler has yet to sign off on development of all-new models, this could be the last ever Maybach. For the facelifted Maybach range, power was increased on the top Maybach 57S and 62S models.

This gave the 12-cylinder engine an extra 18bhp to 457bhp. Average fuel economy is seen to improve from 17.22mpg to 17.88mpg and CO2 emissions have decreased from 390g/km to 368g/km. A 542bhp motor still powers the standard 57 and 62 models. The average fuel economy dropped from 18.83mpg to 17.77mpg and CO2 emissions have fallen from 350g/km to 383g/km.
