There have been some confusing mysteries surrounding the identity of the test driver of the most famous motoring program in the world – BBC’s Top Gear – which is dependent on a hired driver to try the world’s best supercars. The driver’s identity has been a well-kept secret for the show, that is, until this week.

It was previously reported that the driver, which is usually dressed in a white racing suit and helmet, was Ben Collins, a race driver of Bristol, UK. In the unfolding events, however, it was confirmed by BBC that the hired hand is Graham Hill, the 80-year old father of F1 World Champion Damon Hill.
