The time has come for Bentley Arnage to adopt Audi's 500 h.p. V12 TDI. I hope they are just contemplating lighter weight (e.g. aluminum and carbon fibre) and not smaller size. A lighter Arnage will need super-light-weight magnesium alloy wheels and unsprung suspensiom components to maintain comfortable ride characteristics.

It's good to see luxury brands like Bentley caring for the environment like Lexus and Toyota. I think Bentley is afraid of the LS600h which competes with the Arnage so they want to offer a more fuel efficient and greener alternative. A very smart move. Hopefully it won't have an outdated diesel engine like that S class hybrid.

you know, people need to stop messing with great cars in the name of the enviroment. Ferrari, Bentley, what next? These cars are not ment to be green.

now please dont get me wrong, i actully think Al Gore is doing a good job. I think cars as a whole need to be more envorimently friendly. GM/Ford/Nissan etc (all main stream cars) need to have a minimum of 35 mpg maybe 40 (and yes, i would include the hummer, pick ups etc). But please leave ferrari with a V12. There are so few of these high end cars, that making them green will not really do much.

I agree that the V12 TDI would be perfect for the next
generation Arnage. It look's like times are changing for all automobile makers, thank's to global warming.
David989 whatever it is you're smoking I want some of it. You are positively delusional if you think that anything Lexus produces could even come close to an Automobile icon like Bentley. They are in completely different classes. It's like comparing Malt liquor to Champagne.
