Best shots yet of the new Jaguar XF-R
By suprise Jaguar showed off their brand new Jaguar XF-R model at the Goodwood hillclimb today. Not many people seemed to have noticed it but it’s clearly the new R model with Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8 under the bonnet. The 500 hp XF-R has had adjustments to the suspension and brakes to match the increased power and sportivity of the XF-R. Optically we see the new 20? inch all-black wheels, black front grill and new hood with two double air vents.

This unexpected appearance of a ‘production ready’ XF-R at Goodwood Festival of Speed could hint at an official introduction at the London Motorshow later this month. More pictures of the first day at Goodwood Festival of Speed can be found here.

Notice the extra side bolsters on the lower skirts?

Jag"expert"

You have the car listed as an "XKR".

And by the way, if you think that that flikr site is an example of hard work, you are probably severely handicapped.

I wish, I wish, Oh how I wish, that Jaguar would have stuck to the concept XF's headlights!!..

From Previous Poast

I understand some peoples opinion on the headlamps i personally like them. That being said. We all need to realize that the concept headlamps (as I have stated many times on this site) Are not of legal configuration according to EU rules. They have to emit a specific amount of lumens and they have to conform to a size requirement. Therefore they wouldn't work as is.

As well you all need to know that the XF was signed off on 1-1/2 years before the C-XF was designed. So hold on because I think the new XJ will head in the C-XF direction. Maybe even with the headlamps if they can figure how to make them legal.

I saw the XF parked in front of my office the other day. Beautiful looking from every angle; even the headlights don't look as bad.

I honestly don't like the exterior of this car, looks like an Acura, Nissan, and Lexus had a baby. BUT, the interior is gorgeous.

Cue deboosting for having an opinion.

That's because it's a gorgeous car, take a close look at one and then look at an Audi or lexus etc...
