Bugatti’s latest version of their all-conquering Veyron supercar has sold out in less than 24 hours. Called the “Pur Sang” it is the regular Veyron stripped of paint and I have to say that it looks better without the colour. Read Article

Give me a Bugatti EB110 as a Pur Sang, and I would be happier than the owner of a Veyron Pur Sang.

It looks great.

Is it 220lbs lighter just becuase it has no paint, or was anything else done to this car to make it weigh less? I may be wrong, but 220lbs sounds like a lot of paint. If paint really does weigh that much, why don't others, like Porsche and Ferrari, go paintless on their track focused cars?
