such an awesome car...but i have a feeling they could have made it just a lil bit faster. ive heard of an american tuning company that claims its car can reach over 270mph..but as an overall package, their car would not come close to the veyron. comfortable, quick, and beautiful...now all i need is £850,000 to buy it. ;)

I agree 100% with you! I think the Veyron is ugly and looks like it has the aerodynamics of a brick!(even though it may not)

That damn car is beautiful. Not because of the speed its just a pretty car to me. I like it more in the lighter colors but I think its gorgeous and if one of you wonderful guys would loan me a million bucks or so i'll buy one and we can all split the insurance payments.

Actually, it does have the aero of a brick, Piech wanted the car to look like the show car, meaning it was designed but never tested in a wind tunnel, until the car nearly flipped on a test track. Then they had to go back and add spoilers and such. So no, it is not the greatest car ever built enigineering -wise, IF it were then they would have been more careful and wind tunnel tested it, before taking it to the track.

The Mclaren team, when they designed and built the F1 did there homework, and that is why the car can do 240.1 mph with half the hp, half the weight, and carries three passengers to boot. That is the sign of the greastest car every built engineering-wise.
