Bugatti looking to increase Veyron production by 5 units
Usually when automakers look to increase production they do it by thousands of units. Well exclusive and prestigious automakers like Bugatti work differently. "Vacation will be reduced to one week from three weeks the executive said."

Will this be for all people, or just total time the plant is shut down? If the former, what will a two week reduction in vacation do for quality? (I know I wouldn't be a happy worker losing two weeks)

The Veyron is manufactured in France, the socialist workers paradise. France had high unemployment a few years back so, to solve the problem, the government came up with a novel idea. The 'official' workweek was reduced to 32 hours to spread the work around. Yes, I kid you not!

A reduction in vacation time in France is essentially illegal. Perhaps Bugatti will be hiring and training new workers to build the Veyrons while the regular employees take their scheduled vacation?

France still has high unemployment - they are now used to being very lazy. But when they do work, they are productive.

Bugatti should continue and make as many Veyrons as they can. Fine by me if they make more than 300.

Yes. The exact reason why they can only sell like 50 cars is because it's a rebadged VW Eos.

Obviously.
The fact it costs over a million euros has nothing to do with the fact that it sells poorly.
S4, how could we have been so stupid? It's so obvious now that MichaelTaylor is right about everything, always.

i read in popular science that it takes more money to make the veyron than they get by selling it, thus if they make to many, theyll lose too much money. idk if thats still true: the popsci article is from dec. 06
