In recent weeks we've seen two unveils against cars that go head-to-head in the same class. In one corner we have the 2013 Honda Accord. In the other corner we have the 2014 Mazda6. Now, let's have a clean fight!

Here's the thing about both of these products that makes them each interesting though: Each was built with a different perspective in mind.

Honda's Accord is a go-to vehicle in its class. Its owners are incredibly loyal and even when Honda makes a "meh" vehicle, the automaker will still walk away with some dollars in its pocket. Honda knows it can get away with making a marginally better vehicle but I have to say that I sort of like the 2013 Accord. It doesn't feature groundbreaking design, but it doesn't have to. Then we have its interior, which to my eyes isn't necessarily visually appealing, but is one of the tops in its class. The two screen set up is pretty rad.

Now the Mazda6, on the other hand, could be this manufacturer's swan song. Mazda is enduring some tough times but with the success of the CX-5, it could be the brand's renaissance. The Mazda6 has generated a TON of attention here on AutoSpies ever since the Takeri Concept made its big-time debut. Frankly, I don't believe there is a better looking product in this class, though the new Ford Fusion is easy on the eyes. However, the Mazda6's interior isn't what I'd call class leading. It's a good attempt but when you compare it with the Accord it looks a generation behind already.

Being that they're both Japanese products, will be priced similarly and are all-new vehicles, we want to know: Of the two, which would YOU rather have? The 2013 Honda Accord or the 2014 Mazda6?
