Here ye, Here ye! The latest BMW M car has come and we're finally able to show you the full banana. No longer shrouded in mystery, the BMW M2 has been fully unveiled.

Equipped with a forced induction six-cylinder good for 365 horsepower and 343 lb.-ft. of torque — sound familiar? — power shouldn't be too much of a problem here. In addition, buyers of the 2016 M2 will have the choice between a six-speed manual transmission as well as a dual-clutch 'box.

But, there's just one thing: Is it us or is the M4 coupe living in its little brother's shadow?

While I know there are a lot of power junkies out there, and the latest-gen M4 is no slouch, it seems like there's just something special missing about the driving experience when compared to previous-gen BMWs. Obviously I haven't driven the M2 yet but if the 2011 1M is any indication of how the M2 should drive, there's a good chance it will be more communicative, more raw and more fun than its big brother.

If there's one thing we've learned over time it's that history tends to repeat itself.

If there's one thing we've learned over time it's that history tends to repeat itself.

Having said that, I've got to ask: WHICH BMW M car would YOU rather have? The all-new M2 or the currently existing M4?
