Of the new cars coming out for the 2013 model year, a couple of the hottest commodities are the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Jointly developed, the Toyobaru is highly anticipated to be a special product considering it's rear-wheel drive, is performance oriented and starts at the "cheap" price of around $24-25,500, depending on which manufacturer you opt for.

Any rational buyer would be sure to test drive the other new products on the market that are comparable; however, there isn't anything that really springs to mind for the price and is a really driver's car. Well, that's until you remember the MINI Cooper Coupe did just make its debut.

Though it doesn't boast rear-wheel drive credentials, there is one thing we know the MINI Cooper is good at -- being a driver's car. Then there's the MINI John Cooper Works edition. The JCW's are outrageously fun, that's if you can hop over that high barrier -- its price. However, before we start penalizing the Cooper for its pricetag, remember that the standard Cooper Coupe rings in at $22,000 and the S comes in at $25,300.

That said, WHICH itty-bitty sporting vehicle would you opt for with YOUR coin?

Are you going for the all-new Subie or will you stick to the tried and true, MINI Cooper?
