Though I noted that the Chicago Auto Show is typically dubbed the "truck show," unfortunately to a Chicagoite spy's chagrin, I think it's pretty clear that the sportier side is leaking out. I mean, when Shelby introduced a few of his special Mustangs and the ZL1 came out from hiding it was pretty well established.

This year there's an array of interesting products, from Nissan's NISMO 370Z and Juke, the kitted up Dodge Charger Daytona and the Impala Turbo, which is sporting matte paint and ZL1-like wheels.

While I really am not a fan of the new Malibu, that's the first time I've seen it and thought "Well, it's not that bad."

Then there are a couple of things you just have to shake your head at: The Chicago Blackhawks Chevrolet Camaro, and the Kia Optima "Superman." What is up with these two?

Someone has some explaining to do.
