Based on the Saab 9-3 wagon, the Cadillac BLS wagon will come in 3 petrol variants including a 2.0 liter producing 173 horsepower, another 2.0 liter producing 207 horsepower and a 2.8 V6 producing 252 horsepower. Cadillac is wise to continue to develope vehicles in the premium compact market. As US fuel prices rise, the models they initialy developed for Europe could eventualy be necessary in the US. This time Cadillac will have a nice portfolio of varients to fill the new market.

I am usually a huge fan of wagons, but this one looks like a herse! The only thing holding this car back from being a herse is the fact it is not black. I think Cadillac needs to pull this model from their line for a few reasons. Aside from the DTS all current North American Caddies use RWD platforms. The BLS is counter evolutionary by comparison to the rest of the Cadillac model line up. Secondly, models like this in a luxury line hurt brand image. Finally, if it is a flop in Europe then they have no business bringing it here.

Hmm...I skimmed it, and looked for the word "Saab" didn't see it. You can tell its a Saab underneath.

WOW... Look! It's a Saab 9-3 Estate! Ohh, sorry, I didn't see the Cadillac badge! I really don't get the BLS! I love the new CTS, but I really don't see the point of changing a few body parts on a Saab 9-3, slabbing a Cadillac badge on it and then charge more money for it! Especially when you think of the fact that Saab is regarded way higher than Cadillac in Europe!

Cadillac has been going downhill since 1959.

Looks nice.

Too bad I'd MUCH rather have a CTS.

Evoaudi, LOL! I really thought the name was kinda off too when I first heard it. "BTS" wouldve fit better with the rest of the lineup and sounded better as well. I really hope the next generation BLS leaps forward from this model like the new CTS did from its previous version...

I wouldn't mind having this as a family car...floor it to and from the supermarket. Sweet...
