General Motors Co.’s Cadillac brand has leased more than 34,000 square feet in the Hudson Square neighborhood of New York City to serve as global headquarters for the luxury brand, owners of the building said Thursday.

The space is at 330 Hudson, a 16-story, 467,000-square-foot building, according to Beacon Capital Partners LLC and partners Ivanhoé Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties. Cadillac is leasing the top two floors of the building, which are wrapped in glass and have 14-foot ceilings.

Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell confirmed the location. He said the space is currently empty and Cadillac plans to begin using the offices in the spring
