Nissan of North America has told Inside Line that there will be a lease option on the 473 horsepower Nissan GT-R.

That would make the supercar more affordable for the average consumer who is unable to finance the car for a full purchase Nissan, however, is still not offering any details on the lease program.

“There will be a lease option, but there are no concrete details,” Nissan’s North America Spokesman, Darryll Harrison, told Inside Line. “More information will be available in March or April, closer to the start of sales.”

The Nissan fanboys are overtly excitied they finally have a fast car and it hasn't hit them yet what this car actually looks like, but we do ;-)

based on demand this car will lease at over a G for the first year, no question.

Actually leasing is quite common on high end cars. You can lease Porsches, BMW M cars, Mercedes AMG, etc etc.

Here in Middle East, (according to Car Middle East regional news coloumn) Qatar alone gave more than 2000 orders and total orders from Middle East for this monster is close to 6000. And that is in the first year before anyone here even tried/drove it.

I am sure Nissan will not have any shortage of buyers for the GT-R.
