Even though I'm reading a strong negative reaction to the new Jetta in your blogs, your readers may be surprised to know that the new Jetta actually scored 'through the roof' in marketing research clinics in LA. I mean, seriously high.
I should know, I have a friend who is on the inside there.
And another friend whose opinion I respect greatly has seen it in person and was blown away.
I suppose we'll all need to see it in person first as well.
Also, I suspect VW will get the typical response from VW enthusiasts that they 'like the old one better'.
Guess what?
Everyone who wanted the old one bought it already.
I suspect the new car will attract new buyers to VW showrooms and that is a good thing.
