I would say that the rear might be a bit ugly but the front isnt any worse than the new Camry...

the tailites look like a dinged up maserati quattroporte. its fuel estimate 24/32 in a 4-cyl. not even close to its hybrid rivals from toyota camry hybrid and the defunct-to-be honda accord hybrid. just doesnt seem like an improvement.

24/32 in 2008 is 28/35 in 2007 (courtesy of 2007 Aura Green Line). The main gain, as with all hybrids, is in the 28 mpg city rating. Compaing to the 2007 G6 4cyl, which is rated 23/33, 5 mpg it's a substantial improvement. A remember, the cost of the hybrid vs. non-hybrid on these GM mild-hybrids isn't very much (2007 Aura Green Line starts at $22695 USD).

Agree with you JUGNU. An enterprising stylist could make a lot of money in the aftermarket selling attractive grilles to cover up the ugly front of that otherwise not-too-bad-looking car. I especially hate the in-your-face Chevy logo. Now, if GM could come up with a better looking and more modern logo for Chevrolet, I might be warmer toward it.
