Boost it!

In many quarters of the mainstream media, the Cash for Clunkers program has been viewed as an unqualified success but there are some dissenting voices in the wilderness.

For one of these viewpoints, showing the real economic cost of the CARS program, short- and long-term, Automotive Traveler shows that there is an alternative view of some of the program's more controversial elements, if the program is as "green" as it appears to be, and will the temporary boost in sales simply be future pent-up demand pulled forward?
