Here are some shots of the next Volvo convertible...We're told it has a retractable hardtop like the SLK, SL, etc.

This is not your father's Volvo. This looks really nice. I hope they put enough horsepower under the hood to compete.

That guy on the right..yes! that bow legged dork. Why, I say Why is he's staring at the water! I be staring at the car! Maybe he's lookin at a blowfish and thinking..hmmm this could be a nice design for a car...Now only if I could catch that slippery darn critter and freeze it and mail it out to the Benz designers.

OK, i must admit this comment will be a bit biased since I drive a C70 coupe, but i digress...

I think the current C70 conv. is a beautiful car with a classy design, but the car never sold that well, so I guess it was gonna get the axe sooner or later...

But man, this new conv (if they actually preserve this design) is gorgeous...

I'm really a big fan of Volvo these days and their current cars are really good looking (if you disagree, check out the new S40 or the S60R...wow those are freaking nice)

If Volvo comes out with this car, I would see no reason to buy a BMW conv. or MB conv.

Come on, one of Volvo and Saabs best selling points are their uniqueness...they don't sell that well and that's the point! You don't see many Saabs/Volvos on the road and that just adds to their uniqueness when you do actually see one...

Looks like a stylish cabriolet, but like most Mercedes cars, too raked forward. The front end is tipped and the back is relatively too large, making the car look like it could fall over its fron tend. Why not adapt a balanced look like BMW's or Audi's, with a slight tilt from the back finishing with a gentle slope of the hood? Just my opinion.
