Chery has a hidden agenda for Luxury cars

September 6 (Gasgoo.com) - Chery Auto is set to produce its luxury sedan under the code name "F11" as early as 2009, according to Shanghai Securities News report.

The source who has access to high level Chery officials says Chery had started a program to develop the F11 as early as this April. The model will be sold under a different brand logo from Chery. 3.0L V6 and 4.2L V8 engines will be used in the F11. Both of these engines are developed in-house by Chery and designed by Austria's engine manufacturer AVL.
