China overtakes Japan as No. 2 autos market

With all the people they have I am surprise they are not #1.

That's right the Japaneses make more money. I meant the job pay more.

in less time than most of us think, they WILL be #1.

it wasn't very long ago that they passed germany to be #3. having now passed japan to become #2.....

Well, wait for the next 5 years. Everyone is assuming the ppl who buy cars will buy again and again. I wouldn't doubt China's customers will keep their cars for 10+ years just as showpiece to exude wealth.

Even some junky VW is considered a luxury purchase.

Since China's pop'n is 4x as large as the U.S., should their market not be 4x the size of the U.S.? After all, they're the next superpower if you believe all the hot-air.

Theyr'e purchasing power is only 1/10th that of N.America's, and that's only if they keep out of a war with us.

isn't that a problem for ALL countries whose leaders our leaders don't like?

what's the world come to, when the only Superpower has morphed from a country much admired, to the worst BULLY in the family of nations?
