i owned a sebring back in '99 and i've got to say thank God. that was the worst car i've ever owned (mechanically). i loved the look of the coupe and handling wasn't too bad for a fwd vehicle but the car had problems way before 19000 miles.

Actually Joe, Hyundai would pick up the slack. In fact, Hyundai is picking up the slack. If you saw my Accent with all of the Hyundai Genuine Luxury parts on it outside right now, you'd agree with me. It puts any PT to shame.

Also, As Chrysler goes even further upmarket, Hyundai will be there to pick on the big gaping hole left behind by Chrysler Leaving the Entry Level upmarket. The same with Lincoln, Buick, and Cadillac. Not just Hyundai, but rest assured VW will get a piece of the Action too.

By the way, The Sebring can be saved. The Avenger canbe Saved, but its going to take some work.

The styling of these cars is simply aweful. I hated them the first time I saw them in pictures, and I still hated them when I saw them in person. Whoever approved the designs should be found, dug out of the hole they are now hiding in, dragged out into the streets, and then unceremoniously shot.

I rented a Sebring last time I was down in Disney (Nov 08). What an awful awful car inside and out.

And to think, some suckers paid 40 large for the cabrio lol.

Well Invisible, they sell many aftermarket parts to make Accents look like Genuine certifiable Luxury small cars to fit in with its bigger brothers inside and out.

Juat like they sell many aftermarket KIA parts to make them look like certifiable tuner and performance cars now.

You may think Im joking, but the company had invested tons of money into R&D ing aftermarket parts to make its current gen and older gen cars to fit in with new counterparts and siblings.

BTW, Im working on Leather door panels and dash now.

Before Aftermarket parts for these cars were hard to get, but as the comapny decided to change directions for both brands there's now an Aftermarket parts banquet out there.
