Chrysler is open to buying and rebading models from other automakers

Sounds like they are getting desperate. But may not be a bad idea until they can get their stuff together. Just have to pick the right brand.

Well then they can start by buying some Euro cars that we don't get in the states. How about bringing Puegot's back.

Is Chrysler trying to become a 3rd party supplier? If so, Cerberus should've just let Magna buy Chrysler.

I don't know if its wise for Nissan to trust the quality of an entire truck to another company.

I don't know if Chrysler needs a small car. They need a partner that could supply better quality materials for their interiors which could revive their brand.

Nothing wrong in getting and rebadging cars from other makers. Just be careful with China made cars if they want to stay alive in the US market. Maybe, partner with a korean firm like Hyundai to manufacture cars in the US. This "could" be a win win situation for both companies.
