If there's one brand with some serious ambition, it's Maserati. Not only have documents shown that it is trying to sell 50,000 units by 2015, it also had some tricks up its sleeve for the Quattroporte's debut at the Detroit Auto Show.Take, for instance, the announcement that for the first time the Quattroporte will be offered with an all-wheel drive set up.If the V6 powerplant wasn't a clear enough signal, I think AWD really makes it crystal. Maserati is definitely attacking the luxury sedan marketplace HARD in an attempt to net some market share. Can't blame 'em, that's the name of the game. Given that a Q-Porte is not likely on everyone's list when they go shopping, we'll say that the two most likely targets and close rivals will be the Porsche Panamera and Jaguar XJ. Considering they both can be had with six-cylinder powerplants and all-wheel drive now, this little dust up is going to get dirty!AutoSpies.com is the number one site in the world for Auto Show photos. With other sites you're a spectator but with Auto Spies is like you're THERE!Official Detroit Auto Show photo gallery**The 2013 Detroit Auto Show Gallery and coverage is sponsored by Lexus

Seems like every new sedan these days has the same Audi-esque taillights. From the Hyundai Sonata to the recently revealed Infiniti Q50— MBCLS07 (View Profile)

You know, when I see these taillights my mind thinks "Ford Fusion," not Audi.— Agent00R (View Profile)

The previous Quattroporte was a bit non-descript but this one borders on completely anonymous. Not a positive trait for a Maserati. — cidflekken (View Profile)

@Yonder7 - Isn't this car GORGEOUS!!! Oh Lexus IS fans, this is how you put together an absolutely beautiful and high quality interior design. Not this multi-layer, plastic looking stuff in an IS that has no flow or thoughtout design to it. This is very elegant, simple BUT modern looking high quality craftsmanship. It doesn't have to cost $100,000 dollars to look like this interior. Just get the right design team aboard Toyota/Lexus and say give me something that is this good looking.— gkearns56 (View Profile)

Tail lights are too generic, headlights are puny, the car doesn't have much presence. — lexusrox123 (View Profile)
