As we gear up for the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), we've been leafing through all of the all-new products to debut. There's a bunch from a variety of categories, but you better believe we'll be keeping an eye out for solid pick-up truck offerings.

Why? Well, that's because these things sell in droves. And, with the all-new Ford F-150, we think there will be a lot of companies trying to play catch up.

Although Nissan hasn't really taken a substantial bite out of the pick-up truck market in the U.S., it may have the chance to gobble some market share from the latest players with its all-new Titan pick-up. Of course this assumes that Nissan meets the market's needs and can better meet its expectations that have been set SO high due to the all-new F-150.

To prepare everyone for the all-new Titan, Nissan put together this short clip that takes a look back at Nissan's rich truck history. This is only chapter one so it will be interesting to see the remaining chunks of this video pitch leading up to NAIAS.

To mark the bold, ground-up redesign of its full-size pickup, Nissan is publishing a multi-chapter TITAN “Truckumentary” to highlight the design, planning and engineering of the next-generation Nissan TITAN pickup.

The series is being officially kicked off by Nissan’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Parts and Service, Fred Diaz. The first episode features a stroll through Nissan’s truck past hosted by Brent Hagan of Nissan product planning.
