To be honest, we’re not altogether sure what to make of Nissan’s Bevel Concept.
Its asymmetrical construction is certainly interesting, and this van crossover thing looks to have a lot of flexibility for active-lifestyle types.
Interestingly, the Bevel maintains a similar helicopter-fuselage greenhouse to the window line that marks out the company’s existing Armada full-size SUV and its Infiniti QX56 cousin. The pillarless rear-hinged door arrangement opens up the side of the concept tremendously, revealing a space inside that’s more of a living room than it is a traditional automobile interior. With thin seats that flip down to create a huge, flat floor that runs from the cargo hold all the way to the passenger-side dashboard, stowage of large items looks to be an easy trick.
